The holiday card orders are pouring in to our photo lab, making this a great time for a few reminders and things to consider when ordering cards.
To get photographic prints of your design, make sure you order the product with “card” in the name. If you just order 5×7 prints, for example, you will not get card pricing OR envelopes. ”5×7 Studio Designed Cards” would be correct.
Envelopes are always included in the price of folded, press-printed cards.
The same is true for our layered cards, which come with both the swirl paper clip, and envelopes.
Since 2-sided, press printed cards are often used for marketing, envelopes must be requested and there is an additional charge. However, keep in mind that there are no envelopes available for 5 ¼ x 8 ¼ 2-sided cards.
Also, did you know that the USPS charges additional postage for square envelopes? If a client requests 5×5 cards, it is important to make sure they are aware of this.
Keeping these things in mind will help prevent any delays in delivering holiday card orders to your clients, and will help them get their cards mailed to loved ones right away.

Do you have formats for Save The Date cards?
We would like a flat card, with four photos, and room for text. Is that something we can create, or is there a template for something like this?
