Q: How long have you been at the lab, and what other departments have you worked in?
A I have been at H&H 26 years as of April. I used to work in underclass volume and operated a VP2 printer. I have been in maintenance for about 12 years.
Q: What did you do before coming to H&H?
A I went to a technical school, to be an aircraft mechanic. This was before TWA left the Kansas City area. Prior to that I was an auto mechanic. I’ve always worked with my hands.
Q: What is it that you enjoy about your team here at H&H?
A I get to work with some cool people, and I get to interact with almost every department here at the lab on a daily basis. I get to move around all day. No two days are alike, and I get to work on new and different things every day. I also love working with my hands.
Q: Tell us a little bit about your family/your personal life.
A I was married for 28 years. I have a son who is a Financial Advisor, and my daughter is a middle-school teacher and soccer coach.
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A Right now I have been spending my free time hunting for Morel mushrooms. I’m typically with my kids on the weekends, helping with projects at my son’s house, or just relaxing with my family.
